HOW AND WHAT DOES A YOGA TEACHER EAT?

What a teacher eats in a day of yoga:-

MORNING: breakfast

always follows a strict morning routine.

the best food choices are the ones which really “nourish” your body, that is protein, complex carbs, fibre, healthy fats, vitamins & minerals, antioxidants, etc.

COFFEE:

Drink coffee but never first thing in the morning– it has to do with balancing your cortisol levels.

10 AM SNACK:

The oats usually keep healthy, apple slices with almond butter, a banana or a handful of mixed nuts.

LUNCH:

the main rule when it comes to lunch that should be at least half-filled with vegetables and greens is the following:

It’s simple and if veggies take most of the space:1. salad

1) get your daily fibre intake easily

2) there isn’t much space left for overdoing carbs or other foods.

AFTERNOON SNACK:

smoothies

DINNER:

Dinner follows some rules :

On a hot summer night, might have an exotic cucumber salad.

In winter vegetable soups and stews, sweet potato, pumpkin, lentils, and mostly warm food.

Finally, Some KEY RULES FOLLOWED BY A YOGA INSTRUCTOR:

Tend to follow some few rules strictly:
