Animal welfare
At Raj Yoga School, we believe that the true essence of Yoga extends far beyond physical practice. Through our Karma Yoga initiatives, we actively support animal welfare by caring for rescued and abandoned animals and promoting kindness toward all living beings. Inspired by the yogic principle of Ahimsa (non-violence), we encourage our students and community to cultivate compassion, empathy, and mindful living in everyday life.
Our efforts include providing food, shelter, medical care, and loving care to animals in need, while also raising awareness of responsible, compassionate treatment for pets and street animals. These selfless acts of service help create a deeper connection between humans, animals, and nature. By supporting animal welfare through Karma Yoga, we aim to spread love, healing, and positive change within the community while inspiring others to live with greater awareness and kindness.

Child Rescue – Donation-Based Yin Yoga Class
Karma Yoga is deeply connected to supporting and uplifting the community through compassionate action. One of the initiatives close to our hearts is our support for child rescue and welfare programs in Goa. Through donation-based Yoga classes and community support, we collaborate with organisations that provide care, education, shelter, and a safer future for children in need.
Our donation-based classes also raise awareness of the importance of supporting vulnerable children and of giving back to society through selfless service. Students and participants become a part of something meaningful by contributing to a cause that extends beyond personal well-being. This initiative reflects the true spirit of Karma Yoga, practising Yoga not only for self-growth but also to spread compassion, hope, and positive change in others’ lives.

Free Yoga Retreat for Cancer Survivor
We believe that yoga has the power to support healing not only physically, but also emotionally and mentally. As part of our Karma Yoga initiatives, we offer free Yoga Retreats and wellness sessions for cancer survivors to help them reconnect with their strength, inner peace, and overall well-being. These sessions are thoughtfully designed to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where participants can relax, heal, and regain confidence through gentle Yoga, meditation, breathing practices, and mindfulness.
Our goal is to provide a space where cancer survivors can step away from stress and focus on self-care, emotional balance, and inner healing. Through the combined practices of Yoga and meditation, participants are encouraged to improve flexibility, reduce anxiety, enhance positivity, and cultivate a deeper sense of hope and resilience. This initiative reflects our commitment to using Yoga as a tool for healing, compassion, and meaningful community support.
