Are you passionate about Yoga and interested in taking your practice to the next level? Consider enrolling in a Yoga teacher training program at Raj Yoga School in Dharamshala, India. Our school offers a variety of programs, including 200-hour, 300-hour, and specialised 200-hour training programs.
Our 200-hour training program is designed for students new to Yoga teacher training who want to establish a strong foundation. This program covers the basics of Yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology.
For students who have already completed a 200-hour training program, our 300-hour program provides advanced training to deepen their understanding and practice of Yoga. This program covers advanced teaching techniques, as well as specialised areas such as Ayurveda, meditation, and pranayama.
Both our 200-hour and 300-hour programs are certified by Yoga Alliance, which means that our graduates are eligible to register as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT). We also offer a specialised 200-hour program for those interested in teaching children’s Yoga.
Difference between 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training
The 200-hour and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training programs differ primarily in their level of depth and experience required. A 200-hour YTT is designed as a foundational course for beginners or those new to teaching Yoga, covering essential topics such as basic asanas, Yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology. It equips students with the core skills needed to begin teaching Yoga safely and confidently. In contrast, the 300-hour YTT is an advanced training intended for those who have already completed a 200-hour program. It dives deeper into advanced asanas, alignment, philosophy, Yoga therapy, pranayama, and meditation practices while also refining teaching techniques. Completing both trainings qualifies a teacher for the 500-hour level certification, which is often recognised as a mark of advanced teaching expertise.
