Turn Passion into Profession with Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga combines Yoga, acrobatics, pilates, and physical therapy. It’s easier than regular Yoga because we use swings to support our body weight, so our muscles don’t work as hard. The swings enable us to move more freely, stretch more easily, achieve correct alignment, and perform advanced poses such as handstands and inversions. The Aerial Yoga Teacher Training Course offers excellent therapeutic benefits by utilising gravity to stretch the spine, relieve back pain, and aid in injury recovery.

Aerial means air or to fly. Yoga means the union of body, mind, and spirit with the divine or universal life-giving force. This is achieved by purifying and strengthening the body through a proper diet and physical conditioning, calming the mind through meditation, realising the spirit by exploring our essential nature, and transcending the barriers of ego consciousness, as well as space and time, which separate us from the true nature of being and reality.

Aerial Yoga involves performing traditional Yoga poses, usually done on a grounded mat, in the air using hammocks and other suspension tools. Aside from the excitement and added challenge of executing poses in midair, practising anti-gravity Yoga can help immensely with joint problems by lessening impact while forming poses.

Aerial Yoga Teacher Training is for those who want to teach others to fly through Yoga. The comprehensive course curriculum is a thorough, well-tested suspension fitness technique. Getting certified in this process requires a strong background in teaching and experience/certifications from other modalities, such as Yoga, dance, personal training, gymnastics, aerial arts, or hands-on experience in lunar aeronautics.
