Vinyasa Yoga is a popular Yogastyle rooted deeply in traditional Hatha Yoga. It combines classical Asanas with breath and movement, strength with flexibility, and consciousness with energy. HA-THA practice flows into a rhythmic dance of movement and non-movement, contraction-release, inner stillness and powerful energy. Translated, Vinyasa means “The art of Sequencing”. It is the art of merging the diversity of Asanas beautifully and helpfully. The framework of class compositions is determined by the traditional tantric method called “Nyasa” for energizing the body. VINYASA YOGA TEACHER TRAINING – CURRICULUM

The Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training curriculum equips aspiring Yoga teachers with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead dynamic Vinyasa classes. The program typically covers the foundational principles of Vinyasa Yoga, including breath synchronisation (pranayama) with movement, alignment techniques, and sequencing of asanas (Yoga postures).
Vinyasa Flow
This class is a part of the morning practice. Every class will have a technical focus, working towards a peak posture. Classes will demonstrate how to incorporate stretching and strengthening techniques into a Vinyasa Flow Class, inspiring you to create your class as part of the Teaching Methodology program.
Vinyasa Flow Teaching Methodology
Students will create a dynamic Vinyasa Flow class to achieve peak posture through stretching and strengthening techniques. This module will be taught through peer teaching, facilitating the sharing of sufficiently challenging information. The head teacher will teach these classes.
Adjustments for Vinyasa Flow
Adjustments provide more in-depth access to poses and allow students to gain an understanding of new postures. They need to be managed carefully and confidently. Different body types and the importance of the student-teacher rapport will be considered, and student-teacher practice adjustments will be made as part of the morning practice. Learning adjustments is a ‘hands-on’ process, and so it will be closely supervised by the Lead Trainer.
Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Students will learn an abbreviated version of the series to make the connection between Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. Students will be encouraged to practice concerning the anatomy of the fascial body.
Alignment Workshops
This class will demonstrate how to incorporate stretching and strengthening techniques into a Vinyasa Flow Class, inspiring you to create your class as part of the Teaching Methodology program. We will also explore the myofascial connections for postures that accommodate the complexities of such a posture in a Vinyasa Flow Class.
