Is any specific criteria like experience or certification needed for the 200hrs Teacher Training Course?
In general, all our classes and courses are open to everyone, regardless of age, nationality, or experience level. We invite everyone to join us on the path of Yoga for the Teacher Training Course. Please note that it is a 4-week intensive experience. A level of physical and emotional stability is considered crucial. If you have health issues, please talk to us before booking.
Do I have to prepare anything before the course starts?
No, we do not require any specific preparation before the course. Any knowledge of Yoga will serve as a good foundation for learning and understanding.
What is the class size of the Teacher Training Course?
A maximum of ten students will be in the Teacher Training course. We will make no compromises on this to maintain quality and focus on every student.
Will there be a final exam or assessment at the end of the Teacher Training Course?
There will be a written assignment containing questions about Philosophy and Anatomy. It must be submitted two days before the end of the course. Part of the curriculum is a class that you conduct with one of your fellow students. Our teachers (and you!) will gain an impression of the skills you’ve acquired and provide honest feedback.
Will I get a certificate at the end of the course? What kind of?
You will receive a Yoga Alliance certification that confirms you completed the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course in accordance with Yoga Alliance standards. With that certification, you will be able to register as a RYT-200 and become part of the worldwide Yoga Alliance community.
What kind of Yoga will be taught?
Our teachers are experienced in various branches of Yoga. The subject of “Yoga” is vast, encompassing many traditions and styles. In our course, you will get an overview of that. As to the Yoga asana classes, there will be a focus on Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga.
What language are the courses taught in?
All our Yoga classes are taught in English. Although our teachers are all Indian and speak Hindi, you can also enrol if your knowledge of the English language is fundamental.
What study materials do I need for the Teacher Training Course, and where can I get them?
We will provide you with all the relevant study material. There is a carefully researched and Yoga Alliance-aligned manuscript for the Teacher Training course. It is well designed and written in an easily comprehensible language, illustrated with photographs.
Will I have free time to engage into other activities?
The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course is a very dense experience. You are studying Yoga-related matters for almost 12 hours each day, followed by some light homework.
We recommend that you focus on this schedule. Due to our experience, we would like to mention that enrolling in other courses concurrently with the Teacher Training Course is not permitted.
Sundays are free for your amusement!
Will I be able to teach after completion of the course?
After the 200-hour Teacher Training Course, you will be certified as a Yoga Alliance registered Yoga teacher. That is a sign of credibility. However, Yoga is a very vast field. The question of whether you can teach is one you must answer for yourself.
Do you feel ready to teach others the wisdom of Yoga? Or is the Teacher Training just the beginning of a longer journey?
Definitely, you will gain knowledge that will prepare you to teach beginners and intermediate students.
What if I am not able to attend all days of the Teacher Training course?
As our course duration is relatively short, each day will be crucial in terms of effective learning. A day gap can lead to a lot of lack of knowledge. Therefore, full attendance is mandatory during the course period. Half-knowledge is dangerous, especially when it comes to Yoga.
Will the course carry on homework? If yes, how much?
There will be a simple homework to prepare each day. There is a lot of information to be provided within this month. But don’t worry: we are aware of your full schedule, so your daily homework will not take more than an hour.
Who will be my fellow students for this course?
We’re open to everyone: every nation, every age, gender, and level of education. We have a significant proportion of students from India, Australia, Canada, the United States, and European countries. The atmosphere of our institute is somewhat like a family. A family connected with Yoga!
What is the difference in between 100 and 200hrs Teacher Training course?
The 100-hour Teacher Training Course follows the schedule of the 200-hour Teacher Training course for 12 days. Within these days, the curriculum remains identical – except for the Anatomy class, which is not included in the 100-hour training. The 100-hour Training is an exercise designed to increase awareness of Yoga, whereas the 200-hour Teacher Training course will be awarded a Teacher Training certificate, which allows you to teach.
Which airport in India should I book my ticket to?
That depends on your starting point. Generally speaking, if you attend a course in Dharamshala or Rishikesh, New Delhi would be a good point of arrival. If you visit us in Goa, the nearest airport is located in Goa. See our location section for more information.
Is it possible to arrange pick-up to the Yoga school?
Yes, we can arrange pick-up from the train station or the airport. Just provide us with all the information about your arrival.

Can I stay extra days before/ after the course?
If you choose the residential option for the course, it will be no problem to add extra days before or after the course. As you will be pretty busy for the duration of the course, it might actually be nice to have some time to explore the area. Please let us know the dates, and we will be happy to assist you.
What facilities are in the rooms provided?
The accommodation offered is a private, simple, and neat room with a bed, an attached bath (with hot water), and free Wi-Fi.

Is it better to do the Teacher Training Course in Dharamshala, Goa or Rishikesh?
There is no better or worse, as the content and quality of the teaching remain the same. Still, you can ask yourself: what climate and surroundings would be more suitable for yourself? If you enjoy hot, humid weather and beaches, Goa might be your ideal choice. If the serene atmosphere of the Himalayas sounds more appealing, visit us in the Dharamshala area, and if you feel that the ‘Yoga capital of the world’ should be on your route, come to Rishikesh.
