The 100 Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Goa is a short yet immersive program designed for those who wish to deepen their personal practice, understand the foundations of yoga, and experience authentic yogic living in a calm, supportive environment. Whether you are a beginner, a wellness seeker, or someone considering yoga as a long-term path, this training offers a strong and meaningful starting point.
This course is designed as one integral part of our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program, making it especially suitable for students who wish to earn a 200-hour certification but are unable to commit to a continuous one-month course. By completing this 100-hour training twice, students can fulfil the required hours and become eligible to receive their 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate.
Set amidst the peaceful natural surroundings of Goa, the program blends traditional yogic wisdom with practical teaching tools, helping you build confidence in asana practice, pranayama, meditation, and yogic lifestyle without pressure or rush.

The 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training is a perfect opportunity to establish a strong foundation, deepen your practice, or experience yoga for the first time, with a group of like-minded people. The program invites you to explore your inner potential by practising yoga in a disciplined manner under the guidance of yogis, in an environment that cultivates a sense of your own space and helps you reach the essence of your soul. Our 100-hour Yoga TTC for beginners is designed for those who have already been practising yoga, as well as for those who have just started or would like to start, and who may be missing a sense of spiritual growth or a feeling of centring within the self.
In this beginners’ course we focus first on getting to know each individuals’ body and its capacity before strengthening and toning the body, improving flexibility and enhancing the sense of well being by practicing the fundamental aspects of yogic asanas in depth with a proper understanding of each practice, correlated with breath which enables the practitioner to find the balance between body, mind, breath and spirit.
We aim to provide an authentic understanding of yoga so students can build a strong foundation by learning the core aspects of yoga teaching and using various tools and principles effectively to gain maximum benefits and enhance their yogic journey.
Curriculum – 100 hour Yoga TTC in Goa
Our program is designed to incorporate the commitment and power of an immersion with the flexibility of training. During the course, Raj, Bharat, and Dev will give you the tools you need to deepen your practice, teach, and empower others. After the course, you will be able to stand confidently in front of a roomful of people and guide them through a yoga practice. We will help you hone your skills in observing, listening, adjusting, and leading. You will have plenty of practice-teaching opportunities, ensuring you are superbly prepared for this next step on your yogic path. Each participant will be assigned a facilitator/mentor to provide personal support on this journey.

Training will include instruction on the following topics:
Anatomy and Physiology:
Basic spinal anatomy and asana for a healthy nervous system. In-depth study of the systems of the body, Parasympathetic/Sympathetic nervous systems and their relationship to health, connective tissue, fascia, and movement. Understanding musculoskeletal anatomy in motion. How to address health concerns and injuries. Yoga for women’s health/all stages.
Asana:
The science, philosophy and art of vinyasa. Exploring sun & moon salutations, Alignment and anatomy of postures. English and Sanskrit names of postures. Deepening your personal practice. Offering vinyasa Yoga to all ages and bodies. Modifications, variations and the use of props Practice teaching.
Meditation, Mantra and Mudras:
Philosophy of meditation. Methodology and science of meditation. Finding your voice: the benefits of chanting. Practising and Teaching with mantras. Incorporating mudras in practice. Exploring the Hindu deities. Creating your own bhakti practice
Yoga History and Philosophy:
Sadhana: create a life on purpose. Developing your personal philosophy. The evolution of Yoga. Living Yoga in today’s culture. Yoga Sutras/Bhagavad Gita/The eight limbs of Yoga.
Sensational Sequencing:
Warming and awakening the body. Wave and peak sequencing. Safe and fun transitions. Asana for meridian/chakra balancing. Teaching a mixed-level class. Reading your students’ bodies. Injury prevention and management
Pranayama:
The power of breath: Developing a pranayama practice. Incorporating breath work into vinyasa flow. Teaching breath awareness. The science of respiration.
Subtle body energy:
Chakras, Meridians, Nadis, Bandhas, Doshas, the five elements, Prana Vayus.
Inversions, Advanced Asana and Arm Balances:
How to create an H2 inversion practice. Benefits of an inversion practice. Teaching inversions safely to all levels. Infusing inversions in a Vinyasa practice. Incorporating advanced asana in your practice.
Restorative Yoga:
The art and skill of teaching restorative Yoga. The science and philosophy of relaxation. Anatomy of the nervous system. Terminology, tone and creating the space. Proper use of bolsters, blocks and blankets. Creating a basic restorative sequence.
UPCOMING DATES
What is the 100 hour Yoga Teacher Training all about?
This training consists of 80+ hours of direct contact. Additional homework includes required and recommended reading, daily personal practice, maintaining a yoga practice, journaling, and observing and assisting lead trainer classes. After graduation, we are committed to your ongoing personal and professional development and, in doing so, will continue to provide support, mentorship, continuing education and teaching opportunities to interested & dedicated graduates. You must do a 100-hour Yoga Teacher Training twice to gain your RYT 200 through Yoga Alliance.
WHAT YOU’LL LEARN:
You will learn mostly about yourself. The only thing you have as a yoga teacher is your own experiences. That means you will spend a lot of time experimenting with your practice, learning your thought patterns and physical quirks to help you be the best of you every day. You will learn to communicate primarily with yourself by understanding your feelings and needs, and then to communicate with others with clarity and kindness. You will also learn about your strengths, where you blossom, and where you can serve others. In the end, you will learn that you, too, are a leader in your universe.
ETHICAL GUIDELINES:
This is REAL work for students here to LEARN, not a vacation on the island. Therefore, we have a zero-tolerance policy for substance/alcohol/sexual abuse. Your certification will be revoked, with no refunds whatsoever, and you will be ordered to leave the school immediately. We believe that such individuals who need help are unsuitable to teach this practice now.
